Quiz games for kids
Big tiles, short questions, fun sounds and team points: a quiz board that works for young children at school or at home.
Making it work for younger kids
- Short questions that you read aloud. Keep answers to one word.
- Fewer tiles: 3 or 4 categories with 3 questions each is plenty for ages 5 to 8.
- No minus points. Give points for good tries if you like.
- Picture categories: “Animal sounds”, “Colours”, “Shapes”, “Opposites”.
- Movement: the team that answers gets to ring the buzzer.

At home and at parties
For a birthday, make a category about the birthday child: favourite food, pet’s name, best friend. For family game night, put kids and adults on mixed teams.
